Students will learn how to protect each asset type and learn how to achieve asset protection. The course will also cover the different assets between small and medium businesses and larger corporations.

An asset is any data, device, or other component of the environment that supports information-related activities. Simply protecting those components, either hardware or software, from illicit access, use, disclosure, alteration, destruction, or theft, encompasses access security.
