Description

GetGit is a Python script designed to automate the tedious task of searching for and downloading release assets on GitHub. It is particularly handy if you regularly work with GitHub releases and assets and wish to integrate them into your development workflows.

Features:

Automatically retrieves the latest release assets in a GitHub repository.
Allows you to select and download assets of your choice.
Can be easily integrated into your own projects and workflows.

How It Works

The script scans the specified GitHub repository for the latest release assets and provides you with a list. You can then choose and download the desired asset without leaving the GitHub website.

Why It's Useful:

Saves time and effort compared to manual asset downloads.
Automates processes involving regular use of release assets.
Facilitates the integration of GitHub assets into your own projects.
