What you’ll learn

Insecure web application configuration is one of the top security risks for sites, holding the number 2 spot in the current OWASP Top Ten. In this course, OWASP: Security Misconfiguration, you’ll learn to secure your application. First, you’ll explore hardening servers and application frameworks. Next, you’ll discover security HTTP headers. Finally, you’ll learn how to leverage automated scanning to find issues in your site’s configuration. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge needed to increase the security posture of a site to mitigate the number 2 OWASP Top Ten risk, security misconfiguration.
